Sam asked Marcel if he wanted to learn how to dance last night.
Marcel said yes.
This did not require music.
It only required me getting off the computer, Sam said.
No really off, as in turn it off, Mom.
I live with a very wise one.
(Of course, I had to grab the camera, and then write about it here, before they woke up.)
It has been the most powerful week of my publishing-internet-ether-making so many meaningful connections-feeling such accomplishment-and yet…
my kids need to be witnessed by their mom, not her back at a keyboard.
I can completely relate. Way to dive and in and LIVE your momma-hood, my friend! And hats off to Sam for the reminder! He is so right: I just love how insightful he is. We so easily forget, don’t we? Way to enjoy living your momma-hood to the fullest–and dancing. There is always later to write about it and share it with us MCAB fans! Huge hugs to all three of you crazy cats!
That is such a beautiful picture. And cheers to the most powerful week of publishing-internet-ether-making so many meaningful connections-feeling such accomplishment!
I love this picture, I love this blog, I love your family! I can’t wait until my little one can articulate his need for me to get off the computer in a way doesn’t involve pressing arbitrary buttons and spilling his apple juice on my lap.
